That said, part of me really wants to see Tarantino make another film like Jackie Brown. As much as I enjoy his more outlandish fare, by concentrating on projects like this I don't know if he's really pushing his talents as a filmmaker. I adore men-on-a-mission war movies like The Dirty Dozen, Guns of Navarone and Where Eagles Dare; it’s great to see Tarantino continuing this fine tradition.
