you guys have the jankiest RSS feeds. Takes forever to show up for me i dont know why. and this happens to be my fav podcast so its quite annoying. I tried subscribing manually in iTunes and its not currently present…o well i will manually throw it on my ipod. thanks for the show john!

  2. Phil Gee says:

I agree; we haven’t spent enough time with Megatron yet for him to be transformed into Galvatron. I don’t think Cybertron is dead though. I think they’ll find some kind of special deus ex energon that can bring it back to life so the robots can live on it and thats what they’re fighting over in this movie. At the end of the movie, the Autobots will go back into space so they can go home and it will be very emotional and we will cry.

Thanks for the show guys (its never boring).

  3. Monty says:

There was a time when big time celebrities looked down their noses at voice acting, since to them taking voice acting work meant their careers were in the toilet.

The only advantage I see in using a celebrity voice actor is if they go out and actively promote the movie, to his credit Jack Black has appeared on numerous shows to promote Kung Fu Panda.

  4. yamo says:

Frank Welker back as Megatron oh hell yeah. Not that Hugo Weaving did a bad job but we need Frank Welker. If Kirsten Dunst dont come back to Spider-Man 4. to play MJ who will be right to play her I’ll say Alicia Witt of one of the law and order show will fit the part.

  5. Kristina says:

I was in the lounge room in my dorm, and I actually overheard this group of guys talking about how Zohan and The Love Guru look like, and I quote, “the funniest movies ever!”. I had to leave the room before I threw the soda machine at them.

  6. Kristina says:

And I don’t get why they got Weaving as Megatron in the first place. The voice didn’t even sound like him, so why bother spending money on a big name when you could just a random guy to do it for less? Hell, a guy on the crew could have done that voice work and I’d be none the wiser. Why is Welker’s voice supposedly unsuitable for the movie, but a-ok for the video game and extra features on the film’s DVD? That makes absolutely ZERO sense. I’d never heard Welker as Megatron until just after the movie came out. A friend sent me a Youtube link to the ending of the Transformers video game so that I could compare Welker’s voice to Weaving’s. Hands down, Welker’s voice is better.

Hey John nice podcast but I would say that I would disagree with is that I went last night to see the Zohan movie and it was hilarious with the right audience. I lived in NY and understood the small hidden jokes that was portrayed in the movie. I didn’t go in the theater misjudging and didn’t expect much but entertained!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I did like it’s message in a way. Well that is my opinion and don’t get me wrong there are many flaws in the film. Well keep up the good work by the way. And everything I do agree lol

  8. Steven Carroll says:

    ALL HAIL GALVATRON!!!

I would like to see more Megatron first, but I would be amenable to seeing galvatron.

  9. Alan says:

Damn it John, Sam Raimi Screwed up in one movie SM1 & 2 were amazing SM2 More so SM3 was bad yeah but it wasn’t the worst of the year.

    (just my opinion)

  10. Ed says:

John, I have to make you aware I am an Adam Aandler fan, and im sad to hear about Zohan.

But realize that later this year him and Courtney Cox I believe will be in a Disney movie called Bedtime Stories.

Adam Sandler in a Disney film? Could this work?

I think it could, do you Mr. Campea?

  11. George says:

need to fix the itunes feed. nothing is showing up since last mondays show

  12. George says:

no new shows on the odeo feed either??

  13. calviin says:

Nothing from the 80s Transformers movie should be used.

    No Galvatron.
    No Hot Rod.
    No Wheelie.
    No Unicron.
    No dead Optimus.
Nothing. The original series can be used from here to infinity for source material. It was a glorious masterpiece for it’s time.
The movie is a wretched abuse of our childhood trust and a strict manipulation of marketing with no care towards the characters. It’s existence is offensive and a blight upon our species.

  14. HAZMAT says:

    calviin

okay i agree with the no wheelie and no dead optimus part but- unicron? HOT ROD? those are 2 awsome characters and theyre a must have in the sequels- galvatron not so much (he IS amazing nontheless) but the characters must stay, the story can be changed- but the original robots are whats going to make the movie great for those who watched the cartoon
