As for the early climax with the Queen fight, I think Weyland-Yutani/U.S Military/whatever it’s called now, should try and capture the queen instead of killing it a la Jurrasic Park 2.

Its should be Aliens-esque. To get the franchise back on track they need to retread old territory and introduce new characters.

They should introduce a new lead character (female ofcourse)

The film should open with a huge Weyland Star Freighter sending out several cargo drop ships to make a delivery on a terraforming colony (LV-179). Within the first five minutes, we should see a hole and some innocuous liquid on one of the supply crates – perhaps someone notices but doesnt think much of it. But the audience will obviously know its ‘contaminated’ and contains a facehugger.

SPACE STATION

Next we are introduced to the new female lead – lets just call her SARAH BURNSIDE, she is a environmentalist working for weyland – who in a conference proposes the integration of new plant species to the colonial planets – not just for aesthetic appeal but also because she believes many of the species she has gathered on her expeditions could help the process of terraforming – so Weyland fund her research and send her to (LV-179) with her young daughter, Samantha.

while on LV-179 there could be some very suspensful sequences with her daughter when they reach the colony – I was thinking of a sequence with Samantha playing hide and seek – hiding in the air vents – and chasing her friend, without the knowledge that there’s a possible alien outbreak occurring. . .
it’s also a little nod to the first two films.

So anyway, the outbreak occurs, and it kicks off an aliens-esque massacre. They send out a distress beacon and nothing more is heard or seen of Samantha or Sarah.

Then the story should cut away from the colony for a while, perhaps a few days have passed, and we are introduced to the MARINES who are about to mount a rescue mission – now, this is how you could potentially get Ripley into the story, she could be asked to lead the rescue mission because of her knowledge and her history with the creatures, obviously she would be reluctant at first but her conscience would get the better of her, just like in Aliens. Although, The story would still kinda work without her.

So Ripley leads the marines to the colony – the next hour or so would be similar ot aliens but on a larger scale – perhaps more set pieces and action sequences – Personally I would like to see more vehicle based action sequences – like APCs gunning down swarms of aliens etc.

They rescue Sarah and Samantha, the two sole survivors – obviously sarah kicks a lot of ass during the film, she wouldnt be completely helpless.

Maybe she even resues her own daughter, kinda like a newt rescue in Aliens. Then the marines take out the queen – maybe the queen emerges as they are leaving and they take her down in an APC VS Queen fight, or Maybe a drop ship VS queen fight – something to top the power loader fight.

Now for the twist and the fourth act.

We learn Weyland was behind the infestation – and planted the facehugger – to test it’s potential as a weapon etc. Ripley and the marines discover this.

Now there are two ways i see this going.

1, And return to Earth to warn of an impending attack, but find it’s too late an all out war has broken out. We’re talking INFESTATION, thousands of hives which means thousands of Queens. And we catch the first glimpse of what alien6 will be like in the final 30 mins.

or

2: Earth learns of weylands intentions in time, so we launch a massive assault on weyland and the alien homeworld.

hats kinda rough but you get the jist, obviously there would be more characters and situations etc.
