I can’t picture her as a warrior, but maybe she’ll/they’ll prove me wrong, who knows. It doesn’t seem very interesting at this point. I’ll wait for promotional stills, trailers and things like that.

Red Sonja is not a ReH creation. it is loosly based on Red Sonya wich was a 16th century russian that uses a pistol and sword in a story called shadow of the Vulture. Barry windsor Smith and Roy Thomas. As for McGowan as the lead? The women that fight in ReH’s tails were ferocious but also very feminine and not some amazon I could imagine McGowan or many of todays models or some of the woman mma fighters as perfect examples.

I can get excited about a Red Sonja movie but I cant get behind a 80lb waif playing her.

I love Rose. She is sex personified. But she isn’t “warrior” material.
