Dr Horrible’s Sing-a-Long Blog Part One is Online!
We first talked about Joss Whedon’s Superhero Musical, Dr Horrible’s Sing-a-Long Blog a couple weeks ago and now it has finally arrived! It is already at the top of the list for downloads on iTunes, and traffic has crippled The Official Dr Horrible website.
At first they were having technical issues and it was unavailable in Canada, but I am told all the International Friends will now be able to share in the geeky wonderment that is Joss Whedon’s sandbox. And get a daily dose of NPH as well.
Kristin at EOnline has this to say about Part One:
So what I can tell you is that Dr. Horrible is an hour-and-fifteen-minute-long show shot specifically for the Web, and it will make you want to jump through the screen and hand Neil, Joss and Nathan a lifetime supply of Emmys, Webbies, Grammys or whatever it is you give to guys who like to sing about being superheroes and supervillains. I totally loved it.
You can watch it online, or it is available on iTunes for about $4.
In case you missed it you can check out the trailer here:
UPDATE!! The official website is back up (recovering from floods of views)
The second act will be online tomorrow, followed by the final chapter on Friday! I love this stuff.

I am kinda disappointed. A little boring
Melbye: I’m sad to hear it but I’m wondering what you really expected? This wasn’t a tv-show with a big “Buffy tvs” budget or anything, simply friends meeting at home discussing a fun project which they went through with.
I personally loved the first part and thought they all did a great job, including with the singing (except for the girl maybe, her voice wasn’t anything for musicals!) but still good. Can’t wait for the two remaining parts.
funny stuff. i didn’t want to like for what ever reason, but it won me over.
Simply Brilliant! Some people obviously just don’t get it.
Awesome. Much fun. And FYI it costs 1.99 for the individual episodes [3.99 for the season pass]
That’s the girl from “The Guild” YouTube series! And who doesn’t love NPH? Looks cool.
i liked it alot.
the trailer sucked
Really good stuff. Very funny and NPH is brilliant. Why isn’t he headlining comedies more?
I enjoyed that. Thank god they didn’t broadcast it on Fox or it would already be canceled!
Keep it up Joss… looking forward to eps 2 and 3!
I Love it so much and Act II is up now. It’s better than the first.
