it appears half of the northamericans in hollywood are canadians!
Oh, so you did. Missed that.
Oh well, it’s my birthday today so a little tipsy. Do you know it’s also the birthday of Liv Tyler, Pamela Anderson, Missy Elliot, Dan Aykroyd, Debbie Harry, Ruud Van Nistleroy, Zombie Princess Diana and Indiana Jones!
I’m in good company.
There’s an old movie with John Candy called “Canadian Bacon” all Canadian cast, plot revolves around the US president needing a war so he decides to declare a war with Canada. Pretty funny movie.
This is gonna sound weird, but Canada just doesn’t feel like another country to me. Just feels like America’s doggy bag, you know? A little extra bit that we didn’t quite have room for:) Been to Toronto a few times, and it feels pretty Americanized to me. Guess I haven’t been to the right places in Canada.
Kristina, there is a HUGE difference between Canadians and Americans and you are not going to tell it by looking at buildings and retail chains. Toronto is often used as movie sets for American cities. It doesnt LOOK different but that doesnt mean Canada is picking up the US leftovers.
Go to Europe. After talking to someone for more than 2 minutes and they can tell if you are an American or Canadian. Even if you are one of those American tourists that put a Canadian flag on your bag.
And I take a great deal of offense being called America’s Doggy Bag. Canada is not your discarded unwanted leftovers.
How would you feel if I said the US was just ignorant Canadians with looser gun laws? That wouldnt be fair either.
@Roguepirate, That is an AWESOME movie. Very funny.
ya cool…i gues haha
nah but for real i really miss john candy IMO he is the best on this list then carrey IMO
Yeah, happy Canada D’eh from Orlando. I’m glad we’re pals. Keep sending tourists, and get friggin’ Saga to play down here!
Aww Rodney, I wasn’t trying to be mean:(
I had know idea the Warner Bros were Canadian. Did you know Louis B. Mayer(The last M in MGM)is from Canada too? He actually grew up in my hometown of Saint John, New Brunswick. And yes I am from the middle of nowhere.
Wow! I’m Italian an I know some italian help Hollywood has more success, but Canadian are very much!! Goodbye from Italy
I think the level of Canadian talent has just continued to get better. Did you know that Will Arnett is Canadian? I just found that out the other day!
