New Dark Knight Poster Online
The forced term of Viral Marketing was abused on Dark Knight more than any other movie. Perhaps to destroy the definition or just rape it into oblivion, I don’t know.
But one of the various promotional websites for the Dark Knight unveiled this new Dark Knight poster. I like the clever use of the Joker cards and all the viral slogans, and even the general imagery behind it, but if they were holding out to give us this poster last, I think it’s a little anticlimatic.

What do you think?

I’ve seen better
Kinda looks fake but….. its getting talked about so fuck it.
I love how people want to label everything as “fake” and then not offer any reasoning.
It came from an official Dark Knight promo site, so you might think it LOOKS fake, but it certainly isnt.
Best poster in terms of optical illusion. I can imagine someone seeing a bigger version of this poster hanging somewhere and at first glance thinking those were bats behind him and then getting a closer look and realizing that those are a bunch of Joker cards.
The overkill promoting just turns me off.I like a good teaser poster/trailer and some bad ass trailers but I don’t want to have the entire movie memorized before i shell ove ten bucks for it. Cloverfeild was one thing, but hollywood your better of spending money on developing good plots and decent casting that beating people over the headd with advertising. IMO
Sorry that sound like a want ad …
Looks good. I agree that it is anticliamtic.
I like the poster, but it doesn’t matter what kind of advertising they do at this point, I’m going to see the movie at least twice in theatres.
Maybe it is overkill at this point. If they stopped all promotion right now the movie would still be a hit.
I think that this poster is great! Very nice! :D
there’s great idea in this poster but it could have been made better. Those small texts aren’t very impressive.
@Strayoght
You do realize that this poster is actually five feet high right?
I am sure when the designer made it, he wasn’t making it exclusively for the 400pixel high view.
Still works. Just not that brilliant.
