The film is not going to be any good but it could have start from the beginning but if the film would have techno music in the film,I don’t know.
If Virtua Fighter series comes alive into a Hollywood movie the story won’t follow up to the game but it will be based around Virtua Fighter 5 timeline.
Tekken could be like The Avenging Fist,but it’s set in the future.

The main story i guess would mean Heihachi and his family and all that devil business. this has as good a chance as any for being the video game film that is good.

Rodney, nobody has seen the Tekken film. Not even Luke Goss. Goss is saying what he is saying because he hopes his work pays off and the end product will be good. Most actors do this sort of thing.

What SDN and others refer to is the “track record” of most video game to movie translations. When a film adap of a video game says “to please the brain channged fans, we will stick per vatim to the game” it is cause for alarm, because the better adaptations in quality thus far are those that only nod to those game storylines, but go their own path. Not the other way around, BigSam So when Goss says his character is slightly altered, and the storyline may not be the one they expect, it is a slight glimmer of hope.

I played the coin op in all the incarnations, and I’m not so much interested in Goss as Fox, but rather how the Jacks will look, who plays the Williams sisters, and who wears the King getup.

As it stands at this point? I have little interest in the film itself.

Im not holding my breath on this film. Its true the games sucked for me personally but i feel it will turn out to be as terrible or less terrible than the DBZ movie.

Saying it’s the best game translation ever is also like saying it’s the best smelling shit. In the end, it’s still a piece of shit.

OK SO I CAN TELL YOU THIS FROM people who i know in martial arts that are in this movie…well ok so i dont know thme personally..i have met them both and shared talk but any ways pretty much my friends hang out with the but cung le and the guy who is playing eddie gordo…..both are plain awesome im choreographing stunts and cung le is the man here in san jose…the movie will make a lot of money just cause the san jose vietnamese community will buy all the tickests haaha there is mad support here for this movie.

but i got to be honest i have played the first 3 hardcore and really its not like the story is anything specia…..and from what i have seen from the movie so far …they are not even close to keeping with the original story ….OGRE!
