I thought they did great justice to the story and I really enjoyed this one. But in the story there were no kids getting speared. That was all sorts of awesome. I thought the same thing all three of you did during the horse chase. I was very surprised by some of the things they did in the movie. When I think about it this might not be too surprising considering the westerns were the genre of the day and finding stuntmen who could them off was easier than it might be today. I can only give this one 6 hydra heads because there were some parts that dragged. It did not have enough cheesecake and for some reason I just did not like Pythias too much. He was honorable and did have high character but he needed to spear a couple of people. I remember reading about this tale back in the day during college. I thoroughly enjoyed 17's talk of Thor afterward! For 18, I'll have to make sure I'm not on the train again this time to avoid the stern, yet majestic eyes of my Japanese brothers and sisters.
