And if they ever do a movie like that I hope it will be based on the DW version set in an Alternate reality where Cobra is sort of Nazi Germany. Joe Comics -- a monumental task-- to prepare. This movie could still go both ways. The original Marvel run are some of the best comics written outside of "superhero" stories-- IMO-- and there are plenty of plots and sub plots to keep a great franchise going if they don't botch this first flick. I think the updates on some of the coustumes suck and these kinds of movies don't have a great track record but keeping my fingers crossed. Oh and Randy Quaid's involvment is just unsettling. The mask makes a cameo appearance later on in the film, and then Destro (the Eccleston descendant) eventually dons something similar to it in the final shot (not final scene, final shot).
