I’m saddened by the untimely deaths of two of my favorite soulful icons.

I was just blasting Isaac’s album: Ultimate Isaac Hayes: Can You Dig It? in my car this weekend.

My condolences goes out to their families and loved ones.

I agree that the movie should not be shelved because if it is scheduled for November, the show must go on. They would want us to celebrate their lives and stay in good spirits.

Both were a great inspiration the entertainment industry and left behind a legacy of their talent to the upcoming icons in this century.

Maybe seeing the movie might give some fans closure.

The plot revolves around 3 re-united band members that find themselves considering their careers and conflicts after the fourth in their band dies.

It was more than a cameo.

It sounds like Hayes’ role is a cameo, as he “plays himself”. But even if it wasn’t, my thoughts remain the same. If the film is finished then I would like the studio to release the film as scheduled, not delayed or shelved. While it may indeed be a sad reminder that we lost two talents too soon, it will be also likewise be a reminder of how talented these men were.
