I hope it’s not true. Nolan has done a pretty good job sticking to the early Batman story. An older Catwoman would really mess that up. I’ve enjoyed the new Batman movies however, an old Catwoman = more money in my pocket (no theater or DVD purchases).

One of them is 62, the other is 68, both have had copious amounts of plastic surgery…it’s amazing what a little bit of insanity will do.

Would still prefer to see someone like Jolie in this role.

Mark, Scarecrow is beyond amazing even if you do it wrong, because his nightmare alone is freaky and amazing now,

as BATMAN FAN, I gota say that Nolan is out of his path if he really did picked her for catwoman…

As I said before Nolan is amazing director, but in dark knight, it wasn’t nolan’s movie it was everyone movie including Heath Ledger as the Joker… and most importantly Advertising Campaign did a great job…

So I won’t be suprise if the sequel doesn’t beat Dark Knight.
Because the outcome was amazing odd…

I’ve learned to give Nolan the benefit of the doubt. When I heard that the first film was going to feature The Scarecrow, I thought the film couldn’t live up to my expectations (too shallow a character). When I heard that Ledger was cast as the Joker I was even more skeptical (mediocre actor at best). I couldn’t have been more wrong in either case. Both were my favorite movies of their respective years.

I look forward to whatever Nolan has up his sleeve for part 3…

Slashbeast…. I heard Penguin being rejected but nothing yet on Catwoman. I think she would fit fine provided she is handled by the same creative team.

And you cant say Nolan “usually favours unknowns for his villain roles” when he has yet to do that. “Usually” implies that he does it all the time.

Ledger was far from unknown when he was cast. Just not expected.
