I defend it because I like it. I see nothing wrong with their films.

I enjoy their films a great deal. Now if they put out a stinker I will be the first in line to say it was.

The point you and Mickey seem to be missing is that bashing on Pixar simply puts you in the minority. Thats all.

Ah, so you are resorting to hyperbole to attempt to derail my statement.

I said LOTS. I didn't say every. I also said you could like what you wanted to. Your call. No one is saying you are wrong. Just a minority.

Sorry. I dont feed trolls.

We're not talking about what was done during the Walt Disney years.

As for the “Cars” comment, Are you're telling me you know EVERY kid? I don't know if you know but that movie was the least liked of all Pixar movies even by the critics but it's true that what it lacked in creativity it made up for it in merchandising and that is why they’re doing a second one.

I stated my opinion but you can't stand the very thought of someone not having the same feeling you have and now you want to make a big deal about it. Let's just say that we agree to disagree and leave it at that. OK!

Mickey, ever animated movie stems from the dumbest idea ever if you approach it with that kind of snark.

So a princess who lives with seven dwarves of conflicting personality types gets poisoned by an apple that only a prince's kiss can cure? Dumb.

But it works.

No one jumped down your throat, but its a plain and simple numbers game. Look around. Nearly Every kid (but yours) seems to love pixar movies. More than half the kids last year had Lightning McQueen shoes, tshirts or backpacks on the first day of school (mine included) because it was popular.

Im not talking about 3d like the red and blue glasses leaping off the screen 3d.... i mean computer animated vs 2d cell animations.

Pixar already does 3d animation. Thats what its called.

Sorry about the confusion.

Is 3D really important? But as long as Pixar does it too (their next movie UP will be on 3D) I guess it will be fun to watch the competition.

And I agree with Rodney. Pixar was one of the best. Period.

I'm probably the last one to comment here but oh well... I love the news about Intel joining with dreamworks. I think 3-D has a ways to go, but I think the potential is huge both in movies and video games.

I was in Best Buy and saw a tv that said "3-D ready". Oh yeah....whatver that means I'm happy about it.

Mickey M. My favorite pixar also has been Incredibles. I was just so impressed by that movie. I must say though, that IMO every movie pixar does is a masterpiece as far as quality goes. They really do put other animation studios to shame.

I hear PIxar will be doing Toy Story in 3-D. Can't wait.

Who says I'm in the minority. Why is it that Pixar fanboys feel the need to ram Pixar down everybody’s throat? I used to like Pixar movies but they aren't what they used to be so I've moved on. I think Pixar has forgotten who they make movies for (hint-hint - children). They seem to be making movies for themselves without a care in the world on whether regular people will like it. I mean seriously a movie about a RAT who dreams of being a chef (who came up with that idea because to me it’s the dumbest idea I've ever heard).

@Nixon, the article talks about the "next generation" of 3d animation and how Dreamworks and Intel have formed a partnership to bring that about.

It does look good, and its soon to be looking better.
