Go read 'Love All The People,' then buy 'Sane Man,' 'Relentless' etc. on DVD, and throw in a couple of his original four albums for good measure. It's all there, in his writings or stage material. Plus, we all know that the success of biopics has more to do with the popularity of the person than the quality of the film. Hicks wasn't too popular in America. I know this, and I'm a fuckin' waffle waitress. Hicks doesn’t need a film. I first learned of this comedic juggernaut when I was working for TV Guide in the early 90's. Funny, insightful and brilliant! I hope Mr. Crowe does Bill justice. My wife's (and my) initial reaction when we first saw one of his specials was gut-busting laughter that both os us were hardly able to control. Keeping our fingers crossed for this one, his talent is very missed along with Richard Jeni, the Platypus Man! Bill Hicks was an AMAZING talent and was taken far too early.
