Shia LaBeouf’s Road Rash Used In Transformers 2
It looks like Michael Bay has decided to work with Shia’s injuries and has found a place for them in Transformers 2. We get the following pic from justjared via moviesonline:
I am not sure how much of this is makeup, and how much is real; but it looks like it hurts a bunch. Road rash is among the most annoying of injuries, it cracks, takes forever to heal and is a constant annoyance. Using the injuries in Transformers 2 was a good move, it saves time in makeup and when you’re around warring robots, accidents like this are bound to happen.
Reminds me of when Mark Hamill scarred his face in a motorcycle accident they worked in the Wampa scene to give Luke that scar that even bacta couldn’t heal.
I see nothing real there though…looks like it was all makeup. His hand looks a little swollen I suppose.
That’s the point Jason… its supposed to look like its all the same injury. The parts that are real are blending in with the parts they made up on him to make the injury more dramatic for the movie.
Even once the actual injury (wrist and a few scrapes to his arm) is healed they can maintain the look of it throughout filming.
damn he must really get tore up in this sequel. i look forward to watching the action on the big screen!

mark hamill was injured fillming “corvette summer.” to the best of my knowledge, motorcycles were not involved.
If there is one thing I like about this, it is that it seems like in the sequel, someone is gonna get hurt!
It makes sense that he’d get fucked up in this one. No way would I have made it through the finale of TF1 with just a little cut on my forehead.
he put the all spark (which MELTED metals) into megatron’s chest in the first film without getting hurt at all, how can he get this fucked up in the sequel?
He has that look on his face, like he is starting to cry.
Yea its all makeup except his hand. just look at the pics from right after the accident. There was nothing ever mentioned about how he ever got roadrash from inside his truck and i know he wasnt thrown from it. So if you keep up with TF2 just look at the pics from after the accident. BUt it does look very real.
