There were some great comedies like "Arsenic and Old Lace", and great adventures like "Captain Blood" and "The Adventures of Robin Hood". Sequels only seemed to be done for lower budget matinee style movies, but I think if sequels had been made to the great movies back then, they could have dominated the list. I will say that im not a LOFR fan so wont find any on here. Didn't mind them but no top movie list for me.
