This looks like the Vatican if I’m not mistaken. I am going to guess that this angel overlooking the establishment like a gargoyle is lucifer: lord of metal.
I never saw Da Vinci Code, so I wouldn’t know anything about this. Most films with Tom Hanks (my favorite actor) are very good, but if it goes against christianity, I’m staying clear of it.
And Harry Potter doesn’t count
I think the poster is really good and there are some subtle hints for reader of the book. I hope that the movie will be better and not as boring as the DaVinci Code, but this should be easy as the book has much more action sequences than the DaVinci Code, so the movie should be have at least some decent action sequences.
The DaVinci code was pretty bad from what I’ve heard. I’m surprised they decided to make this one.
I’m a librarian and patrons who have read both Angels & Demons and The DaVinci Code often tell me that A&D is far superior to DaVinci Code.
For those who have not read Angels & Demons, it is set in the Vatican for the most part. Also it was published before DaVinci Code and is a better book in my view.
Wonder if they can make a boring film than the Davinci code? Like all these books/films that are SO MYSTERIOUS when you get to the end you just feel like saying “is that it?”

A&D was better than DaVinci Code, I thought (books). I was greatly disappointed in the film adaptation of DC so I hope this one is better.
Dan, not to get into religion here, but Lucifer was God’s favorite Angel so the Latin meaning of the name does not surprise me.
wow. can’t wait for this movie. A&D (the book) is far, far better than DVC. i hope (and pray) the movie will be great and worth waiting for!!! :)
