make a reboot…. show to everyone !!!!

If they could make a new DD and make it better… why not. But I think if the idea is to do all this rebooting to tie the universe together, then they should start making sure all the films feel part of the same ‘world’.

And for gods sake, get actors who will be interested in doing sequels and future cameos. Get actors who will be good in the role and love the characters. Whats the point in tying everything together if nobody wants to come back to play the part in a sequel or ensemble film?

Honestly, don’t have any ideas on casting, but have always been a fan of Daredevil. I hope they do a new one.

While recasting is indeed needed- Ben Affleck has little, if any, interest in taking part, and that should also rule out Jen Garner…Jon Favs is directing the films for another Marvel character…Ellen Pompeo’s on Grey’s….hmmm….that’s a good chunk of people there. So maybe….

No. Recast and move it along. I thought Michael Clark Duncan was good as Kingpin, I want Leland Orser back as Wesley as well, where we find out why Fisk had such a lackey around to begin with. (We discover Wesley is a Keyser Soze type of guy, or at least Mr. Purple in disguise)

Hell yes I’m serious. There were some good stuff about Daredevil, and I see no need to reboot/restart.

As for Matt having/not having reddish blonde hair. Who gives a damn?! “Oh, Bullseye should have his old costume that looks great on the page and not the studded leather in the film. Yeah. despite the idea is “comics PC” but would look really fucking gay in a live action context. Write a letter to Rothman, asking that Wolverine should wear his famous yellow tights next May. I dare you. You and I both know it won’t happen.

I am sick and tired of reboots and restarts just because it is/was the right thing to do with properties that had four or more films in a given continuity. James Bond needed it-best that ever happened to the franchise (oh, Craig had blonde hair! BOO HOO HOO) and the Nolan Bat verse is near a summit if it hasn’t reached the peak. Star Trek? Well, it’s a quasi-reboot, but they can loosely get away with it withhoiut throwing the baby out with the bathwater.

Does DD need a reboot/restart? No.
Hulk had a purpose, and that purpose was to unite the Marvel Universe in a team up film of the near future. What is the point of DD having a reboot/restart? There isn’t any-even if Marvel got the rights back – unless, of course, Elektra is replaced with Black Widow, which is alright, I suppose. But I’d rather see a Black Widow film myself.

I’d like to see The Owl as the main bad guy in the new DD film anyway.

As for who would replace Affleck? Well, Jason Statham wants it…? Let him have it. Then get Joey Pants back as Urich, Mike Clarke Duncan back as Fisk, and Orser, maybe Favs will cameo…maybe…

…maybe there shouldn’t be a Daredevil 2.

I’m a bit weary of constant reboots of late, why not go with what everyone knows but try to make it better. I liked how the hulk one could have been considered a sequel.
