Saviano will never leave this country. He loves too much his city and Italy, to run away. He doesn’t want to escape, it’s like sayin’ “ok the mafia won the battle, if you fight against it then you have to run away”. No way.

I hadn’t even heard of this film before this post, but would definitely be interested in checking it out. As you say, Doug, there’s got to be something very intriguing as to the success of this book/movie to warrant a hit… Someone somewhere got royally bamboozled!

You certainly don’t see Solomon Rusdie in Iran! You don’t see him anywhere, in fact.

Salman Rushdie, on the other hand…
