Did Rodney just say that having an affiar as with someone older is good for a marrige?

Generations are not the same as they were 20 years ago. The media is always diffrent between the ages. Sure some shows would fly with todays audiences but many would die a horrible death. Sure the A-Team would still work on TV giving it a face lift in the story dept. But a show like Doogie would be highly unlikely. The idea to make the show about NPH’s character is plausable but a bore. I mean the charm of the show in the first place was the “medical child genius in a real hospital”. With out that then its just another medical drama and theirs already too many now.

Quantum Leap has allways been one of my favourite shows ever. At one time they were talking about starting it again, around the same time the Battlestar Galactica Mini Series started, It involved Sam’s daughter which he fathered while leaping.

Something that Al “Dean Stockwell” tracks down Sam’s daughter to go look for her father.

I would actually prefer they brought back Scott Bakula, I mean his schedule must be pretty empty for the time being. I see him doing some TV work playing small roles, oh and one Steven Soderbergh Directed flick due in 2009.

Knight Rider..
Loved that show as a kid, and still do.. lot’s of fond memories about that car, but come on, that show was also a piece of steaming dog turd if you look back on it. So not much has changed with the new show.

21 Jump Street -I think would have a place with today’s TV watching audience.
Max Headroom – I would love to see an updated version of this show! I was a huge fan of the short lived series as a kid and was bummed when it was cancelled.
Quantum Leap – I think you’re on to something…however if Journeyman couldn’t survive I would if a return of Leap could. I was bummed when Journeyman was cancelled.

bring on the quantum leap refresh! …but only if bakula is still in it. i’ve read rumors of this for years, i loved that show. journeyman was very much like it, but it lacked the historical significance and range of story telling.

No chance Depp would do even a cameo. He hated that show like poison. He intentionally did things to try and get fired. Like doing all his scenes with a rubberband wrapped around his tongue.

They may have lost their charm 20 years ago, but like a good marriage you can always get the spark back by shaking things up with an affair with someone half your age!

Besides, most people who would still watch these were not alive when they came out the first time. Hook a new generation!!
