Still stoked for Fanboy but come on already.

The Clone Wars cartoon has surpassed my expectations thus renewing my faith in Star Wars. Kinda “kiddie” but good TV IMO

Hopefully the live action willbe the real deal.

Chinese Democracy is coming out so they can delay all the movies they want.

The word of mouth had nothing to do with Star Wars but the film itself.

Something tells me that this flick will end up as a DVD release rather than a theatrical.

Nothing related to Star Wars is spoken of kindly. I tend to take any negative criticisms about Star Wars with a grain of salt. Its very trendy to bash Star Wars.

I want to love this film, however it is getting harder with all the setbacks and talk.

and I have been waiting for Killshot w/ Tom Jane, Diane Lane and Mickey Rourke for aboutthe same time everyone else was waiting for Fanboys.

Not that it is a total shock. These ARE the Wienstiens we are talking about. Back when they ran Miramax and Dimension, they would postpone release dates at the drop of a hat, even if the film(s) weren’t crap!

But even so–there has been a lot of interest in both Killshot and especially Fanboys…the latter of which would appear to have an even bigger audience.

I don’t get it.

They wouldn’t be junking Fanboys around like this unless the movie was shit. They’ve moved it yet again to January 2009. NOTHING good is EVER released in January. January is where bad films go to die swift deaths. If the studio had any faith in Fanboys, they would have timed the release with that Clone Wars shit that came out a few weeks ago to build off what little Star Wars hype there still is.

The Weinsteins delaying another film? Seems par for the course with them, its really no surprise what they do. It seems they need a good kick in the junk to straighten them out, as they really piss off a lot of people.
