I agree with Meli, not sure how kid friendly it will be. I love Gris Grimly’s art, but it is definitely not for everyone. That said my 8 year old loves his work so who knows. Should be interesting to say the least. Gris has a artbook out and has done illustrations for several different children’s authors. He recently teamed up with Neil Gaiman for a twisted alphabet story that is wonderful.

This will an interesting project I’m an admirer of Gris Grimly’s art and books. Don’t think you’re going to get a family friendly Pinocchio this will definitely be dark tale.

It was Tim Burton’s story but he didn’t wrote the screenplay it was Caroline Thompson.
