I watched Babylon A.D. recently and all that was going through my head was a vision of the film set in space and Diesel was playing Riddick. No one is expecting a thought-provoking movie out of Vin Diesel and XXX. In my opinion, the success of this movie is completely on the director here. There can be many BIG fans of this franchise and unless they keep the budget under 30 million ( which would make for a pretty cheap looking action movie) it dosen't make much sense that this is going forward.
