I love them both. And why do people harp on him playing the same character? Could someone tell me when Jack Nicholson has been humble, or Al Pacino subtle? Some “greats” have a thing they do, and he could be one. Criminey — if he has to get busy “proving himself”, I dread the ego-driven, Oscar-joke-attempt type performaces we’ve seen others attempt. Be glad this generation has produced these two quirky funny kids who are giving to comedy –not borrowing from it.

Same here. Hope he saves his usual character for Arrested Development. Until then, I hope his roles with go against type, especially when he does Scott Pilgrim.

I think this is too much for someone not that important, who cares about his life? This dude’s expendable, he’s not a bad actor nor great one, just some bastard lucky enough to get into Hollywood.

I’d be curious to see Robert De Niro’s day to day life (to see if he acts like a mobster all the time) or see Mel Gibson (to see if he’s really an alcoholic anti-semite now and then). Now that’d be something.
