As excited that filming is slatted to begin 2010 at the same token the child in me doesn’t want to wait till 2012(assuming a year of editing and cgi additions) to see this movie in the big screen.
God I hate waiting for these epics to be completed but I am sure with Del Toro at the helm and Jackson “consulting” this movie will have more hype than SW Episode 1 as approaches completion and release…except this film probably won’t suck.

I don’t know whats worse. The fact that there will be more boring ass hobbit flicks or that they’re tying up Guillermo Del Toro for over a year. I would’ve liked to see him do Dr. Strange for Marvel alot more than some gay hobbit action.
