I loved the book and I am so glad that it is being made into a movie. When I first heard Leboeuf was set to play the lead role, I thought it wasn’t a good fit. I pictured the lead character as a pretty-boy type…really good looking, preppy, etc….kind of like a Rob Lowe type (only younger)… I think he’ll do a good job at any rate.

I LOVED THIS BOOK. DEFO one of Grisham’s best. im surprised they picked shia labeouf to play Kyle McAvoy…hmm not sure if he’ll fit the role but he’s an amazing actor so he’ll probably be able to sell it. cant wait for the movie!!

First of all, there are no court rooms involved. The Associate is about big law, which means most of the scenes will be in an office building.

i just started listening to the audiobook without even realizing there would be a movie. shia will be perfect for the role. he is awesome.

This was a great book. Half- way through I told myself I would love to see it on screen. If you’ve read the book, you’ll know there is no lawyer-ing in it. So that’s not going to be an issue. I thin Shia might pull it off.

What is this? The Firm 2? It’s a miscast, Shia sucks. I follow the theory that he’s been privileged by someone in Hollywood and that he’s there because of that influence and not that he’s any good, just another bloke in the crowd.
