Catherine Hardwick was marginal at best. I hope New Moon's director has what it takes to bring this epic to film. Peter Jackson is one of the most gifted directors out there. I hope they would consider him for Breaking Dawn. This will be the most difficult of the series with the graphic content. Jackson has credentials with the Lord of Rings trilogy.

Do you know if the third and forth books will be made into a film. And will Robert and Kristin be starring as Edward and Bella?

I will just make this plain and simple. I took my three kids and my husband to see twilight and I must say, I was shocked. I loved the movie. It had suspense, romance, humor, and a plausible ending for a part II. Im not a director, but as a veiwer, I would say that the movie was an excellenct change in the movie industry. Im proud of the director because no matter how much anyone else wants to be a critic the movie made over 160 million and is still climbing. I just hope the next director can be as imaginative and inspiring as the first.

Anything hated turns out good. It may not be today but it will go down in history. Look at Elvis he was hated b/c it was a new idea that others rejected and look at him now. I hope the directors decide to come back and make another movie. Twilight was a very good movie I can't wait in till it comes out on DVD. Don't give up now. You are only letting them win. I wish you all best. Make another movie and who cares what others thing.

You want to know what I think is a good film?

Well that's easy. Herzog. Anything he touches.

Bergman. Kurosawa. Harmony Korine. Lynch. Fincher. Cuaron. Gondry. Fellini. Truffaut. Cronenberg. Joe Wright. And, if it's the right movie, Scorcese.

However, my blood does not get pumped over the director of "The Nativity Story." Nor "Transformers." That's not directing, that's just pretty editing.

But then again, these are harsh times. We all must find comfort somewhere.

*bangs head on keyboard*

Seriously, John? Seriously? Why do you constantly give us listeners pause towards your taste in film? Thirteen was brilliant? Lords of Dogtown was watchable? Seriously?

Your Christmas copies of B.A.P.S. and In the Army Now are in the mail, buddy! Enjoy!

I never had anything against this film. The first i had heard of the twilight phenom was a few months back. I liked the trailers and i am a sucker for a cool vampire flick.

But, man o man, was this film shit. The dialog was terrible, many of the actors were wooden, and there had to be about 50 long, extended, slo-mo pauses/stares where two of the characters just eyed each other. They could have cut out 20 minutes of film by jest removing these "stare scenes". Oh god. And i can only blame the director.

The topic seemed cool enough. The "main" actors were servicable. But, the presentation was horrible. I may be in the minority, but i am glad that there will be a new director for the next chapter. Maybe i will like it more...
