I am very skeptical about this remake, but have been pleased with what I have seen of the legendary villain thus far. It looks like they are staying true to form with his signature look, and this makes me glad. For the rest of the photo set make sure to check out comingsoon.

why is this not behind a link I mean I sorta was kind looking forward to maybe possibly seeing it in the theater and now the shock surprise or hate filled disgust I would have had with Jason Sans Mask is gone.

Seriously though it’s not a big deal to me I saw the trailer a couple days ago and only one shot in it looked awesome/bad ass. I still have major doubts about this remake but because I grew up with Friday the 13th I more then likely will see it in the theaters because aside from Freddy Vs. Jason and possibly Jason X I never got to see one in the theaters when they were coming out every other year because I wasn’t of age. To me the only true Jason Voorhees was Kane Hodder end of fucking story don’t even try to argue with me but if you want to by all means do because Friday the 13th movies I know well.
I am fine with remakes of movies that are have aged poorly.

You may want to put a spoiler on this one. Not that it is anything too new/shocking as he has been seen without his mask quite frequently. Some people who were waiting for that moment may cry foul play however – just a warning.
Yeah but I guess if you remake a movie with a twist ending, everyone will be expecting it so its better to not do that. His face looks a fair bit like his mask (which he didnt get till one of the sequels anyway).
Isn’t the original Jason supposed to be his mother? She is a very homely looking middle aged woman from the pictures.
