If this wasn’t posted I just read @ Hollywood Reporter that Rockwell would play Justin Hammer and Rourke wouldbe the inked russian, as described above, that turns into/becomes Whiplash? I am not farmiliar with either of these villans as I haven’t read the Iron Man back issues yet but they seem b- list to me.

Your right on the fact that Rourke can be a loose cannon. That can be a problem on a big studio film like Iron Man 2. Hopefully he will be a team player.

Wow my excitement for Iron Man 2 keeps getting higher and higher. Maby It’ll be like Batman were the first one is a surprsise starer and the second on eblows everyone away.

I agree with Darren.

In fact, I think this lends itself perfectly to a sequel. I thinkit would be cool to see BOTH Crymson Dynamo 1 and 2 (I think Rourke would fit best as 1) in the same story. I.E.- Crymson Dynamo 1 defects to the US (to work for Tony), leaving 2 to enter the story (along with Black Widow) to steal the armor and kill 1… leaves room for a sequel AND introduces Black Widow for the Avengers movie.

I also really like the idea of physically stealing the armor, which up until now has sort of been specific to its owner.

Agreed! I could not agree with you more on Mandarin. They really need to try to steer clear of that one.

And as for your mention of Captain America and the possible villains, I think, since they are doing it in WWII, it really should be Red Skull, but that could just be me though…

Really?! I thought it was like there were two conflicting reports…I hope this all gets cleared up.

I’m totally leaning towards Whiplash on this one, but really, Mickey fits these two roles perfectly, so I really could care less.
