After announcing that there may very well be a 9th Season of Smallville, you had to expect this was going to happen.
That Michael Rosenbaum might return has some potential, but that he might not do it over his desire to keep his hair speaks volumes about his motivations.
He says they asked him a few times if he’d like to come back but he felt his role had run its course. But if he were to ponder the idea of returning, he’d come back
* For just the final few episodes of the show
* Insist on wanting to wear a bald cap.
I fully agree that Lex has run his course on Smallville. After 7 seasons they still have to hint at his presence to dig up storyline in the form of his benefactress.
Let him disappear, or have a short 2 episode story arc establishing him as the baddie we know will eventually oppose Superman.
I like Rosenbaum. I met him at FanExpo last year in Toronto and he is an awesomely genuine guy and so friendly. His personality is far more animated than his dark presence on Smallville. And the guy does look pretty sharp with hair.
I would like to see him move on from Smallville and give us some big screen fun.
