LOST, that's exactly what it reminded me of at first - kind of also gave me a bit of a Congo vibe. The premise does seem pretty run-of-the-mill, but it has its own flavor in a way. Too bad about the thing being scrapped it must have been exceptionally horrible. Can't count the number of trailers I've seen that got me excited about a movie that ended up being complete garbage.

The IMDB listing for a Lost Tribe sounds like it has the same plot, but Jewel isn't in it?

Without Jewel Staite it in, I have no interest anymore.

Uhh. There's a lot more to this one. The movie 'The Tribe' was shot, but was not up to par and is not scheduled to be released. The movie was re-written, re-cast and re-shot and is now 'The Lost Tribe' and is due out in 2009 sans Jewel Statie. Good trailer, though...

Interesting trailer, it may be a standard horror film, but it may be worth a Netflix rental. Jewel Staite is hot, and, anything for the cast of Firefly.
