Supposedly that conspiracy theory has been claimed false; however, not saying this person’s family was making it up or not, but my sister had a friend who’s family claimed to be descendants of Dillinger and claimed he was not actually killed in front of the theater. They could be lying for all I know, but don’t know why they would as they do not go around advertising it or trying to make money off being descendants of him. Makes me wonder, though, did they get the right guy. Make the movie a little more interesting if they go that route.
