Rodney you really have to learn to read the whole comment. Yes, the Twilight movie was bad, but not an atrocity like the book. It actually attempted to have an actual story instead of just “edward is sexy edward is sexy edward is HOLY CRAP EVIL VAMPIRES!!11!1 edward is sexy”. It made the other characters more than just generic bit part players (although that was probably only because I could see their faces), and as much as I’d hate to admit it, it did have some enjoyable moments. The book had none of that.

So no Rodney, I’m not a “lemming twilight basher” or a closet fanmosexual.

The movie is so in close parallel to the book its disturbing. Reading the book is difficult after seeing the movie because the scenes are spelled out for you on the page.

How can you say the movie is that much better than the book, but still try to bash the franchise?

Are you a lemming twilight basher, or a closet fan. Or both?

I recommend not reading the series unless you find the idea of a 100+ year old vampire watching a teenage girl sleep attractive. But if you really have to, see the movie. It’s ridiculously better than the book, which is saying something.

The whole matter has definitely been blow out of porpotion which seems to be common happenings around the web.

Eclipse is my favorite book as well and in my opinion Slade is good fit for the book. Eclipse has a lot of action, the newborn vamps, Rose’s and Jasper’s horror stories of how they became vampires (I hope they include them both!) and the big showdown, so hell yeah, with the horror aspects of book three Slade may have seen something that inspired him.

He is the Director of the THIRD Twilight movie. And if you read the post you would have seen that he doesn’t really hate it, he was just poking fun.

And he is also going to be ensuring that we have lots of Twilight movies in the future so you have ever opportunity to blindly fling your feces around.

Chris, then you might want to read it. The Cullens are pacifists who choose to live differently than other vampires (They don’t eat people) but when push comes to shove they rip apart a bad vampire limb from limg… literally.

You are just jumping to conclusions.

I have heard enough about it from people who have seen the movie and read the book as well as things I have read about it on this and other websites to know that it pussifies vampires, I never claimed to be an “authority” but everything I have heard or read about it tells me all I need to know.
