But as for The Guild, this does share a common thread. The main cast only knows each other because of the online game they play. They come together as friends to accomplish a common goal because of the friendships they forge online. But the personalities online don't always match up with the people they meet. He does seem like a very likeable guy in real life though, and this movie, although sounding extremely silly, could be a fun '80s style flick. I feel, for it to be successful at all, it needs to be told with tongue planted firmly in cheek.
