I fail to see the point if a ‘reboot’.
If this is indeed the plan, then I rest my case about Hollywood being predominantly (note, I didn’t say EXCLUSIVELY) full of idiots who can’t make a good decision to save their lives.

I only just heard about this movie being made recently (as in, actually happening, not just rumored like it was for years). But I’ve heard that it’s both a remake and a sequel. So can’t say I know either John.

I’m really hoping for a sequel, just because I think there’s a lot of potential for more good Predator stories, instead of redoing the same one again. Besides, the first still holds up well enough to not warrant a remake IMO.

I always thought that Arnold should have come back and done a 3rd Predator film, so should the original Director, John McTiernan.
Instead they re-teamed to make, Last Action Hero which I thought was ok at best.
Arnold, in the past, has stated that he never liked doing sequels after Conan the Destroyer and he only did a sequel to Terminator because of his faith in Director James Cameron.
And I think that’s the key with this film and the many proposed Remakes/sequels, The DIRECTOR has to be good. Neil Marshall is ok but he’s no John McTiernan.
