New Alice in Wonderland Images Online
Some new images from Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland, the first of which features his hetero life partner Johnny Depp.
This looks pretty awesome. The imagery is half of this film and the bright and shiny wonderland still manages to be dark and gritty. Not an easy feat. I can’t wait to see more.

Haven’t liked Burton’s stuff since the Batmans, but if there was ever a film with his name on it, this is it.

I do love what they’re doing with Helena Bonham Carter, inflating her head so her body looks tiny. It’s either going to be awful or glorious.

As much as I like the scenery portion, and even for a Tim Burton film, Burton’s design for the Mad Hatter is just too much. Depp looks like a drugged-out, homeless version of Carrot Top.

Personally I’m on the fence about how excited I am with this one, on one hand I love Alice and it’s visual imagery the story of how she’s wondering around in the collective subconscious.
On the other hand Burton has had his day and quite frankly I’m getting bored with him. Willy Wonka although fun lost a lot of it’s wind in the final act of the film.
I’m cautious about the film and honestly not optimistic about it.

Jeez. I thought Depp’s Willy Wonka was creepy. This guy just made Wonka shit himself. But the second photo paints a very agreeable picture for me. Intriguing.

This looks amazing, I am so on board for this.
Definitely looking forward to it. I’m quite the Burton fan (one of my favorite directors besides Ridley Scott and Guillermo del Toro), and I can’t think of a movie of his that I’ve seen (so don’t mention “Planet of the Apes”) that I haven’t liked. Sweeney Todd was beautiful, Corpsebride was amazing, and I gotta say, I found his remake of Willy Wonka was better than the original, which many will disagree.
Can’t wait to see this movie.

Recently saw Ed Wood for the first time and its definately now my favourite Burton movie, so I’m in the mood to see something new from him…

Like most of Burton’s films, the production design/art direction looks outstanding and the eye candy is Maximum Sugary.
Depp as the Mad Hatter though…ugghhhhhhhhhhh…I’m not feeling it. Sort of makes me think a mixed Genderbender of Ronald McDonald and Raggedy Ann, only on meth.

Depp looks like a more demonic version of Carrottop. This shit is gonna scare the crap outta kids if that pic tells me nothing else.
