New Trailer for Inglourious Basterds Online
A new Trailer for Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds has surfaced on the net.
I like how this trailer fleshes out the storyline a little more. For a while we had nothing but rumour to expect that this was nothing short of a Tarantino violence orgy, while others cautioned that there would be a storyline and that violence would be secondary to the main plot.
It seems there will be something more than “Nazi Killin Bidnez” here.

hmmmm…i dug that trailer but im still not sold on this. i was one of the few that enjoyed the hell outta death proof, but something about brad pitts acting and eli roth is turning me off…ill wait to hear more
the film is not yet rated it is going to R or N-17.
I can’t wait this is going to be bad ass.
god i cant wait to see this film….but having read the script the trailer is leaving out a huuuuggggeeeee part of the story.
the script is amazing and if it plays on screen as well as it does on the page – best film of the year.
I agree the script was great. this is a very well put together, does remind me of some parts lol.
Btw, Shoshanna I pictured a little differently but oh well, great trailer, great script, should be translated masterfully.
looks to be hugely entertaining
So funny, I keep forgetting Mike Meyers is in this movie.
this looks more entertaining to me then johhny depp and alice! i love me some natzi killin good times!
And I’ll wager a shiny object now and then?
So far I see nothing that precludes this from being a Tarantino gore-fest. I’ll wait and see, but T’s insistence on over the top graphic violence even where a more tasteful suggestive treatment would suffice turns me off. I’ll keep my mind open on this one for the moment.
normal violence is too scary for me….to be honest i need over the top violence so i dont squeem…i watch one of the iran video’s of a protester dying and it was so subtle but it was horrific for a average person ….somethings hit closer to home…and a good ole nazi bashing is what i can deal with. =)
“graphic violence even where a more tasteful suggestive treatment would suffice”
See Valkyrie
YESSSS!!!
To each his own I guess. I could rant about how that sort of stuff sticks with you whether you think it does or not, but no need. As long as people enjoy that sort of thing, Hollywood will produce it.
This is gonna be the best movie ever…or not…
“Each man here owes me 100 Nazi scalps…and I want my scalps!”
Its normal to be erect after viewing that right? If it last more than 4 hours should I consult my doctor. Cant wait.
This looks great, but I heard its as boring as “Death Proof”…if soo thats bad news.
I know I’ll get attacked for saying this, but I enjoyed Death Proof a lot. I tend to enjoy and get more out of it after repeated viewings. Same thing happened with Jackie Brown, which is still my favorite of his to this day. I guess everyone has different tastes.
Whats wrong with over the top gore fests anyway? It’s Quentin tho so I’m sure there is great dialogue and a storyline in there.
“Wrong” may be the wrong word, but in my opinion such treatment does nothing to further the story telling, and often enough detracts from it. If that’s Tarantino’s “thing”, than so be it…I just think it’s unnecessary and at least for me, drops his films down a notch or two.
I really do think they are marketing it wrong. It’s awesome but not really action packed, until; the end. The awesome ending.
Marketing it wrong? I dunno, I thought the trailers pulled me in from the first second.
“We’ll be doin’ one thing and one thing only…killin’ Nazis. Sound good?!”
This trailer makes the film look 100x’s better!! I was excited to see this before but oh man!
This is a great trailer, but the first trailer was the best preview EVER…until the end…
“nein! nein! nein! nein! nein!”
“Oh yes, yes, yes, yes, yes”
Christopher Waltz is excellent in this. Brad Pitt wasn’t in it much but did have a small comic relief role near the end, other all this is a Tarantino signature film and very well made. He really got his actors to play their roles to a tee. A lot of people say it’s gory/brutal but I didn’t see that at all. Great to have a signature Tarantino movie back on the screens
