i like the concept art it could use more bumps, a measles rash kinda look so its not so kruger-ish or vorhees- ish. just a bad skin infection that came from logan’s healing factor warring against wades cancer ( why he did this in the 1st place) like poisen ivy and a bad breakout of hives and veins. spawns skin look burn, but decayed too. that attn to detail should portray on wade as well but not on just the suit, but correct it to deadpool mythos. acne vs bad mutation sculp it and add that to cgi this will save money fir clise ups use the latex fold for realism, like the thingvin the ff4 flix…. thatbkevel of texture will make up for wolverine fuckup. i remember seeing ryan at the 1st trailer … i got hype but got worried… are they ganna fuck this up? they gotta make it right

THANK YOU! Your summary of Deadpool’s history is spot on. I would love to see this made into a movie, especially if they focus more on the character’s transformation rather than making wacky one-liners.

The 2 biggest problems I can see for the writers is how to abandon the super power modifications from Origins and how to fit the Deadpool we all want into the much darker origin story he’s known for, because let’s face it, Wade was a pretty evil character before he decided to reform, and while that would be pretty interesting to see, it isn’t how he’s showcased in comics today.

I’m pretty sure they’re just going to over simplify it. My theory is he’s just going to recover from being wrecked by wolverine and creed and now that he has his voice back, he’ll just say “Wow that sucked, I want to kill things now” and he becomes a merc again.

I just dont like how Dreamworks wastes money on big actors do do their voices and then has them look EXACTLY like the actor doing the voice

And yes, it would be a waste to use Reynolds for the voice alone, but again, Dreamworks does it all the time

So my point is, how is he going to be deadpool, if hes not even in the workshop yet?

Youre all complaining about him not looking like deadpool, no he doesnt, because he hasnt even come to that stage of his life yet, hes 3 years away from becoming deadpool.

Now that hes been proven to be a weapon x failure theyll send him to the workshop and then the sick deadpool game will start.
And AFTER he escapes hell be deadpool
He doesnt even get all his powers until he gets sentenced to death which isnt even close to happening.

Deadpool cant be Deadpool until he goes through the short stage of his life in which hes “Weapon X Deadpool”
Its because of failing at weapon x that he gets sent to the Workshop and then to the Deadpool.
Weapon X Deadpool and the Deadpool you all know are completely different.

Its after he does a mission with Sluggo, Slayback, and Kane who are all succesful wqeapon x candidates, that he goes to the Workshop because he was the only failure hence his disfiguration and psychotic behavior.

So he WASHES OUT of weapon x (hes weapon x deadpool still)
And THEN the game called “The Deadpool” starts, which has nothing to do with Wade
The game is to bet on who dies next in the workshop
The Workshop was painful and he was being tortured, so he became more insane and saw visions of death and fell in love with her, so he put a bet on the Deadpool on himself and tried anything he could do to die and meet death, who was “his love”
So he starts killing people, becoming more insane, then he starts becoming more humorous making fun of people with sick jokes, and then he snaps completely and is sentenced to death, his healing factor finally becomes perfect and he escapes and becomes a mercenary again

THAT is when he starts calling himself Deadpool, he adopted the name from the sick game his Workshop partners used, who he mostly killed

As weapon x deadpool, he always looked different then the deathstroke/spiderman copy cat uniformed ninja, he wore a black and white uniform that was completely different

Were not even CLOSE to meeting the real deadpool yet. The weapon x deadpool was a pretty close adaptation of the weapon x deadpool- disfigured, gross, and controlled by the program.

Hes not even in the fucking workshop yet, itll take them a whole movie to make him deadpool

I agree with you on that. They could play it off that it wasn’t Wade that Logan and Creed were fighting in the end. He never did say that he was Wade afterall (also his lips were sewn shut so that could be the reason why, but I won’t go with that logic). As far as the designs go, not really digging that hood thing they have on him. I think if they gave him the full mask on and in the movie have him put in on and joke around about it then that would be cool. You can see Wade put on the mask and ask “What do you think ladies? Does it match my sense of awesomeness?” with Logan mumbling something under breath about a cheap superhero costume of sort.
