You know, sometimes comedy actors get so buried in their careers that they just are not a draw to film anymore. So the only thing left to do is to assemble a pile of OTHER actors who also can’t draw a film anymore and make an ensemble comedy!
Best of all, make it about not growing up so you have tons of comedic material.
Five friends and former teammates reunite years later to honor the passing of their childhood basketball coach. With their wives and kids in tow, they spend the Fourth of July holiday weekend together at the lake house where they celebrated their championship years earlier. Picking up where they left off, they discover why growing older doesn’t mean growing up.
Wow, I can not say I am looking forward to this. I do really like Kevin James and Adam Sandler, and I used to like David Spade and Chris Rock. Never really cared for Schnider, mostly because his characters are all dumb and socially inappropriate like he is in this one. It is always funny to watch Kevin James’ physical comedy, but its just not enough this time.
But seeing them all together could add up to some funny moments, but I am just not that big of a betting man.
Didnt laugh once. I can’t imagine why anyone would want to see this.
But WILD HOGS did well, so I guess you never know.

Wild Hogs sucked, but I’m going to catch it on DVD as I am a sucker for Adam Sandler stuff no matter how bad they turn out.

But one funny moment doesnt make the whole film worth watching. Maybe it will be good, but so far I am not seeing enough that sucks me in.

i hate Schnider never liked him in anything that he has done besides his little roles in the adam sandler movies
He does play that creepy inappropriate guy who is good for a half chuckle when we trip over him in a Sandler flick, but more than about 30 seconds of the guy and I start liking Jarjar more.
I dont know, Schnider always makes me grin when I see him in one of Sandlers flicks, that said Kevin James’ only flick I liked him in was Chuck and Larry. he’s got T.V. lame sitcom written all over his face (my perception). Spade went bust after Farley passed.(and was really a leech anyway) his only funny thing for me was his “sarcastic guy” stuff. Cris Rock’s acting peaked in New Jack City and turned wooden soon after(still a funny dude though) Sandler always delivers. sappy or not the dude is really the most talented one in that bunch….but Schnider’s always cool in bit parts
I think it looks promising. Maybe they just don’t want to give away all the funny parts in the trailer.
Looks like the typical Happy Madison crew plus Chris Rock. I’ll probably end up checking this out since I’m a sucker for Adam Sandler movies.
