New Ninja Assassin Promo Clips Online

By Rodney - November 11, 2009 - 09:51 America/Montreal

I am really looking forward to seeing the Wachowski’s Ninja Assassin. Mostly because Rain looks amazing in it and the action is the kind of jaw dropping visuals I crave.

A new set of promo clips showcasing the aforementioned action is online:

Now I disagree that Rain is even half as popular in North America than anyone seems to think he is, but that doesn’t detract from his physical talents. He is a gifted dancer and a very impressive martial artist and I cannot wait to see this on the big screen.

this isnt a wachowski movie. James McTeigue directed it. they just produced.

  2. Mijo says:

but the wachowskis are directors. how many movies has brukheimer directed?

and to me, that just takes credit away from mcteigue. who to me in 2 movies is a better director that the wachowskis who made 1 great movie then turned into a cash grabbing franchise that just sucked so much ace.

Considering they have produced this, Speed Racer, V for Vendetta and all the Matrix films, I would wager they are just as much Producers as they are directors.

Keeps your hopes low on this one. It’s not good at all.

Funny, but I think the real successor to Bruce Lee might not be a Chinese martial artist but a Korean pop star. Rain is the man.

  5. Mike Mai says:

i don’t think this will be any good, but i’m very impressed with rain. going from a dancing pop star to a bad ass ninja, he seriously beefed up for this role.

  6. Jeremy K. says:

Everything I heard and read from people that saw the secret showing of the whole movie at the San diego comic con had nothing but good things to say about it. They also emphasized it to be quite fantastically gory.

I pray to the Spirit of Sonny Chiba and Gordon Liu that this movie doesn;t get “Westernised” when editing fight scenes. Nothing worse than seeing a fight scene shot from 20 different camera angles cutting to a different one every 2 seconds. Learn from Hong Kong movies and use wide angle long takes.
