Redband Cop Out Trailer Online

I didn’t really care that much for the first Cop Out trailer, and was solely interested in seeing it because of Kevin Smith directing it. But wait true believers, today a redband trailer for Cop Out is online and I couldn’t stop laughing.

Ok, I wanted to see this entirely on faith that Kevn Smith did it, and I wanted to see what he would do with a film he didn’t write. The first trailer was mediocre, and didnt really make me want to see it. But my faith in the tubby bastard has been renewed.

This looks a billion times better in redband, and how modest the first trailer was just proves to me that they didnt have enough clean stuff to put in a trailer and that the whole movie will be as funny as this.

I hope that Bruce Willis doesn’t just play second string to Tracy Morgan.

You … liked this piece of crap?

  3. Robert says:

the same thing happened to the “Slammin’ Salmon” Redband could only do them justice.

Looks even worse then Jersey Girl!!!

This might be just a little too wacky for me as well. I’ll wait for it to land dozens of reviews before thinking about seeing it.

  5. Geno says:

I may…wait for this to come out on dvd. Not sure yet, not a big fan of Tracy Morgan.

What’s with all the hate? This looks freaking hilarious!

Kevin Smith sucks as a director, even worse than a comic writer now. Yea maybe back in the day when he gave a crap about what he was doing but no longer. Tracy Morgan is a hack as a co-star, and the “black” thing is dead – yea we have a black President – BFD – This movie will BOMB harshly. It in NO way looks funny!

You obviously know nothing about Smith. I’ve seen this guy live and he does care about the stuff he does. If you ever listen to SMODcast he mentions many times how lucky and how grateful he is to be in the business.

Your also calling Morgan a hack, do you even know what a hack is?

You also don’t know if the movie will bomb or not.

You sound completely ignorant with your post. The “black” thing? What does that even mean? You mean that there is a black person in the movie? Boy, you’re observant. If you’re referring to black humor or comedy, then you sound like a bigot with your post.

Relax, you haven’t seen this movie and to be honest I laughed out loud at a couple of parts. How can you not find it funny seeing Bruce Willis draw a dick on the window going into that guy’s mouth? Pretty funny to me.

If you don’t enjoy Tracy Morgan, that’s fine, but don’t generalize all black people being co-stars in comedies as the “black” thing…

      • cloud720 says:

I don’t even see he got “black thing” from in the first place. It this trailer Tracy Morgan didn’t say anything that couldn’t have been said by a white guy.

The only thing that could have came off as a “black thing” was the little kid. And the joke was how ridiculous it was for him to refer to race.

      • Chris says:

I think he was referring to the “the president is black” bit from the original trailer. Smith has stated that that scene is no longer in the movie as he didn’t think it was funny and did not want the film to be “that” movie.

Isn’t that the song from Kazaam that they play in the beginning?

  9. 420BAND says:

Now this trailer makes me take a sigh of relief cause that “greenband” one does it no justice.

and even though Silent Bob didn’t write this one , it sure sounds like his sense of humor is in there..

Not big on Tracy Morgan but I’m gonna give him a chance.

    Will go see.
    Funny

  10. I don’t know what trailer most of the people who commented saw, but I couldn’t stop laughing! The kid getting punched in the nuts was insanely funny!

  11. ThePeter says:

Looks great. I’ll be seeing this in the theatre for sure!

  12. bcreek says:

I think I’ll most likely see this when it comes out. I love Tracy Morgan in 30 Rock, and I think that its been awhile since we’ve seen Bruce Willis do something that wasn’t just straight up action. Oh, and Seann William Scott’s last little remark was freaking hilarious!

  13. Jon says:

I’d love to see the whole interrogation scene where he’s yelling all kinds of shit from movies lol.

    • obi-wan kubrick says:

I wonder if it will be one of those deals where some of the scenes that we saw in the trailer will be absent from the actual film?

  14. Anti-Septic says:

I probably wont go see this at theater, but I’ll sure rent it to watch.

Looks funny as heck to me, especially after I have a few shots of tequila then I will hope to get some good laughs.
