In addition to the original cast returing to reprise their voice roles for Kung Fu Panda: The Kaboom of Doom, Gary Oldman has now been added.
After hearing that screenwriter Charlie Kaufman was polishing off the script for DreamWorks Animation’s sequel Kung Fu Panda: The Kaboom of Doom, Heat Vision reports Gary Oldman (The Book of Eli, The Dark Knight) will join Jack Black, Angelina Jolie, Jackie Chan, Lucy Liu, Seth Rogen, David Cross and Dustin Hoffman for the action-packed follow-up.
With animated features I get more interested in the voices involved AFTER I am exposed to the character. Seeing how a voice fits with the image they put on the screen works for me, and regardless of how I feel about any particular actor, the wrong voice can ruin a character for me.
I really enjoyed Kung-Fu Panda, so I am hopeful about a sequel.
