I didn’t get around to seeing the first Death Race, but not because it looked bad, it just seemed to lack any substance for me. While normally I am all for ‘splodey displays of machismo, it just didn’t catch my eye.
And now a prequel is out suggesting there was actually a story to lead up to in the first film. Check out the Direct to DVD/Blu trailer:
Its out in January, and I was just thinking this is a long while off to be advertising now, and it made me sad to think we are that close to winter.
