Well we finally get a look into the new CG musical adaption of the Wizard of Oz, starring Dan Aykroyd, Kelsey Grammer, Hugh Dancy, and Lea Michele. The upcoming CG adaption has a 2011 release date and from the looks of it has been making real progress in the production. Sadly, I am not a fan of the character designs at all, it’s just so typical and unoriginal. If any of you have read the new comic book series “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz” the characters are drawn by my favorite comic book artist Skottie Young and those are some spectacular character renditions.
I gotta say I’m not very excited about this film even though I do like Kelsey Grammer as the Tin Man.

I am so EXCITING. The artwork is AMAZING and I Love, absolutley LOVE the actors. I can’t wait to see this. This is teh COOLEST thing EVER!! EVER!!
Looks pretty good, but am I the only one that would love to see a bona fide big budget live action remake of the Wizard of Oz?
