We all know the story of Beauty and the Beast, which was the only thing about this that makes me hesitate about this modern retelling of the tale. Its been done too many times for me. But I have to admit it got me curious.
CBS is stretching out into feature films. When I saw the CBS logo attached to this, I just assumed it was a TV movie, but this is coming out on the big screen. And after seeing Vanessa Hudgens attached to it, I was again hesitant. I am not mad at her, I just don’t automatically think it will be great because she’s in it. Check out the trailer.
It still has a bit of TV Movie feel to it, but I would be willing to give it a shot. It looks pretty decent.

It doesn’t look so good to me.
I read the book and I will tell you, the movie sure evolved from the book. Which is okay, but on its own yes the movie had a TV feel. The “monster” in the book had fangs and fur, which obviously isn’t the case here.
Not sure if I want to see this movie, but i’d be willing to give it a shot.
I dont know if I would pay to see at theater, but I will see as a home rental for sure. The wife is a sucker for these kinds of films, she gets mad watching all the movies I pick out so I have to bite the bullet and grab a few of these every now and then.
I didn’t know the WB was making movies. This looks like a Halloween episode of gossip girl. I’m sure it will do well.

It’s cool to see the Olsen twins back in movies again, or at least one of them.

This looks like the movie a really fat guy would take a really hot chick to go see.

I get the sneaking suspicion that I just saw the whole movie in 2 minutes and 40 seconds. Moving on now.
