Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall Plot Details Revealed

We have known for a bit now that Millar plans to sequel the popular Kick-Ass titled Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall and now we get details about what the plot will entail.

ScreenRant quotes Millar talkin it up:

“It’s gangs going all over New York filming atrocities on their cell phones and putting them on the internet, trying to outdo each other, all at the behest of Red Mist… And [Red Mist] calls himself The Motherf—–… the worst of all villains.”

“But at the same time we continue the story of Dave and all the complications in his life as he gets deeper and deeper into this dangerous hobby he’s got where he dresses up as a superhero and gets beaten up every night. So he forms a gang and what you’ve got then is all the heroes versus all the villains in a big gangfight.”

So Red Mist evolves into the Motherfucker. Brilliant supervillain name.

Looks like they are upping the action, and Kick-Ass will have his own team of vigilante supers vs a team of Red Mist inspired badasses.

This is awesome.

Is referring to comic book heros as “supers” a Canadian thing?

Honestly has a pitch that sound kind of boring. Nothing new. They have to be careful here and not rely too much on the moderness of the craft and just focus mainly on making a good story. What holds most sequels from greatness is the lack of story development and the confort of the winning formula that got them so far on the game. This is sounding like the new “Spider Man” of this decade.

    Liked the first//didn’t LOVE it.

I really dont see a need for a 2nd one really.

But if it made money then who’s gonna stop em’?

I love the first movie! The plot for the second movie doesn’t sound great, but I will still see the movie.

Thought the first one was an awesome take on the superhero genre and dark comedies as a whole. The plot itself looks a bit iffy, but as long as they keep the same feel as the first one I’m all for it.

THEY STOLE MY DODGEBALL TEAM NAME!!! I’M GONNA SUE!!! LOL

The first movie was so fantastic, I CAN’T WAIT for the next instalment (purposely skipped the article above so as not to be spoiled).
