National Treasure 3: Page 47
— Posted by Rodney
As many films do, a quick suggestion that there is more story to be told is left near the end of the movie. This happens in National Treasure 2: Book of Secrets where Gates is after the Journal that lays out all of US History’s cover ups.
The President urges Gates to read Page 47, and we the viewers are then kept in the dark. Will this be the basis of the third film?
/Film quotes National Treasure 3 writers Doug Miro and Carlo Bernard regarding the secretive page:
I really like the idea of keeping everything connected. Gates’ passion for uncovering secrets will no doubt nag at him as Page 47 likely tells of another treasure or secret.
This secret is rumoured to take them back before the forefathers to their European roots.
