New Gulliver’s Travels Posters Online

A comedy retelling of Gulliver’s Travels was made with Jack Black dragging his wacky antics out of obscurity.

Well the story of a man who finds himself washed up on shore of a lost island and discovers he is a giant among little people who fear him. Comedy ensues.

Some promo posters were found in and around the Cannes festival:

Jack grew on me like a fragrant mold. You didn’t want to look at it, but it was nice to have around.

But I got tired of him after a while and eventually his antics all looked the same to me. I thought he was great voicing Poe in Kung-Fu Panda, but aside from that, nothing he has done lately has made me laugh.

Maybe this will be it, or maybe I will just get tired of it too.

I agree with you, other than his voicing of Poe in KFP I haven’t been that impressed with Jack lately. I am not too sure about him in this leading role, I think he is better as the sidekick.

Who knows, maybe he will surprise me.

Now I know where my deja-vu came from while watching “Night at the Museum”

Jack Black wore thin on me too.
    Year One was terrible.
Tropic Thunder stalled in most of his scenes
Be Kind, Rewind…………..well I’ll be kind.

his stand out was definitly Nacho Libre in the last couple of years.

Tenacious D and the pick of destiny was a guilty pleasure.

still hoping he’ll bounce back though

    Shallow Hal 2?
