New ‘Kick Ass’ Trailer

Of course NOTHING can touch the redband trailer with Hit Girl, but this is pretty good. I am now really anticipating this movie.
For those unfamiliar:
Dave Lizewski, a comic-book fanboy, decides to take his obsession as inspiration to become a real-life superhero. As any good superhero would, he chooses a new name — Kick-Ass — assembles a suit and mask to wear, and gets to work fighting crime. There’s only one problem standing in his way: Kick-Ass has absolutely no superpowers. His life is forever changed as he inspires a subculture of copy cats, is hunted by assorted violent and unpleasant characters, and meets up with a pair of crazed vigilantes, including an 11-year-old sword-wielding dynamo, Hit Girl and her father, Big Daddy.
Love seeing Nic Cage in this kind of role again.

I LOVE the comic and this movie looks like a damn good adaptation. Can’t wait.
I agree. This looks like it’s gonna enter my collection of Superhero flicks on BLU.
i agree with everything in the above posts….the comic is a classic in my eyes and this movie looks like it captures the feel and tone of the comics. that is the most important thing in my opinion, the feel and tone of the world and characters. this looks great

Everyone that has seen the movie in screenings agree its the best superhero movie ever made.
As someone that read the script, i second these statements.

While I agree with everyone who wants to see it, does anyone else think that, while this movie is guaranteed to be a big ball of awesome, that it will flop at the Box Office? Has there been any R-Rated Comic book/Superhero movies that have been blockbusters?
I’m not saying it isn’t possible, but my gut is telling me that the title (Kick Ass) combined with the rating, may limit the audience to drooling fanboys, frat boys, and overgrown man children. (of which I am 2/3…btw)

The whole time I’ve regarded Big Daddy as the guy who looks like Batman. And now in the trailer they agree that “he’s the guy who looks like Batman.”

First of all, comic books use to RAKE in the cash and star wars still RAKED in the cash so obviously it wasn’t only you “20 guys” online that made those movies money. people LOVE movies like this.

Yes, calling comments that are well thought out, and that people are well within their right to make, retarded. That’s mature, intelligent discourse right there.
And before criticizing ones mental capacity, you should learn the past tense of the word “USE” is “USED”.
Avatar is raking in money because of buzz about the experience. Hell, that’s the only reason that I went to see it. The story was a paper thin environmentalist fable. But the 3D technology was astonishing, so it more than made up for it.
Kick Ass is a whole different animal, and despite it’s awesomeness, it will probably barely make back the investment in it, and may likely become a cult hit. There’s nothing wrong with that, but it’s a very real possibility.
Okay, for one thing, you don’t have to act like an asshole to get a point across. I’ve never read the comic and I’m not into Star Wars that much. So don’t assume things and act like mature.
For one thing, I NEVER said that Avatar was gonna flop. And if Kick Ass doesn’t flop, whoopdie-fucking-do for us! It’s a prediction. I’m not saying that it IS gonna flop.
Get your facts straight and learn to stop calling names to add inches to your dick.

I like Red Mist’s ride, “Oh yeah thats right, we’re Superheroes”. Looks great, can’t wait to go see it in theaters.
