The Movie Blog takes on Fan Expo 2010!

Those of you who have been reading this blog for a while know that the last weekend of August is the highlight event of the Summer (outside of our anticipated films) for that is the weekend of the FanExpo in Toronto Ontario Canada! This year the event is in the North Hall of the Metro Toronto Convention Center in downtown Toronto right under the CN Tower

Each year we have been attending the event as press, scooping the best photos we can and sharing as much of the event as we can. In the past we have met some of our favourite stars of TV and film, and some of my fondest celebrity moments took place at this event.

I have been sitting on this news for nearly a month!! This year we won’t just be attending the event to cover it, for the first time ever, The Movie Blog will be PART of the event.

That’s right! For those of you who are attending the event we will have a booth nuzzled right between DK Publishing and 20th Century Fox’s booth!

The 250,000 square foot Metro Toronto Convention Center will be packed with over 65,000 avid fans and some amazing guests.

This year Stan “The Man” Lee will be there, as well as William Shatner, Adam West and Burt Ward along with Julie Numar. Tahmoh Penikett, Felicia Day, James Masters and Summer Glau will be representing team Whedon. Also Dean Stockwell, Michael Dorn and Chewbacca himself Peter Mayhew will be in attendance. Studio presentations from Fox, WB, Disney, Marvel and a massive Tron Legacy Display.
